Q: What if I don’t have a website?
Not a problem! My Supernova can build a 3-5 page responsive website for you! Depending on the service package you purchase, we can build in SEO-friendly elements on your pages to increase your chances of being found on major search engines. Q: Can My Supernova make changes to my existing website?
Unfortunately, we are unable to make changes to your existing site, but depending on the health of your site we may be able to duplicate it into a WordPress environment. We can create a new responsive website for you, and make sure all of your old pages are migrated into the new website effectively. *Depending upon how many pages you have there might be an extra charge for this service.
Q: What if I like my existing website? Do you have to create another website for me?
If you like your current website we are able to use it with your Google Adwords or local listing campaign. Unfortunately, your campaign may not run as well on your existing site as it would on our Google compliant websites. Therefore, we are also able to create an SEO friendly landing page which would drive traffic towards your existing site while at the same time providing the SEO services you need to make your campaign successful.
Q: If I’m an existing client, how much will I be charged to make revisions?
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! We work hard to deliver a product that 100% meets your expectations. One change or ten, it’s all compliments of the house!
Q: What size images do you need for the website?
We need images that are at least 1600 pixels wide for the header images, 1200 pixels wide for the page images, and 600 pixels wide for the featured section images. However, image resolution isn’t as important for a gallery page. These images can be whatever size you have, but the larger they are the easier it is for your potential clients to see your work. We can always reduce the size of an image without loosing image quality, but we cannot enlarge an image that you send as it will pixelate.
Q: What fonts can I use on my Website?
On every one of our sites we use easily readable fonts so that your clients don’t have to find a better pair of glasses to read your website. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate specific font requests due to the nature of how fonts work. Therefore, we are limited to the 600+ Google Web Fonts. You are free to click on the link and find a font you would like to use on your site if you do not like the fonts we have used. Simply let us know which font you would like!
Q: Am I able to purchase the website you create for me?
Yes! The retail value of our websites are $4,000. However, depending upon what package you are in, and based upon how long you have been a client with us, we can offer considerable discounts for our websites. Q: What is the difference between a regular site and a mobile optimized site?
A regular website is usually designed for viewing on a desktop computer. When viewed on a smaller mobile device, the user experience isn’t that great as certain elements from the site might not appear or may not function optimally. Responsive sites solve this problem by removing non-escential elements of the website to speed up load times, and by optimizing the content to display only what is most important for the customer to be viewing. Q: Where do I type my website address or my keywords in my browser?
A typical browser will have 3 different search bars available to you, but can sometimes have more depending upon what plugins are installed on your browser. It is important to type your website URL into the “URL bar” and your keywords into the “Google Search Bar” on the Google.com website. The “default browser search bar” can have a number of default search engines other than Google and is not a reliable search bar to find your ads in.
